Each grape is a work of art
Since 1930.....
Cultivating vine has been a long tradition in our family, it started by our great-grandfather Angelo, when he arrived in Sardinia, after a long journey from Italy, in the early 1930’s. The tradition continued by our grandfather Marino and our father Ermes. The Pozzati brothers were born to found the "Cantina Rigàtteri" to complete the cycle of winemaking, using the experience, the culture and the family secrets.
The vineyards are located near farmland marked on the historical land sheets under the name Reigatile. There used to be a fresh water well near a nuraghe that our great-grandfather Angelo and great-grandmother Ardelia used to supply water for them and their livestock. In an attempt to pronounce the words of the Sardinian language correctly, for the grandparents the "Italian" translation of the word Reigatile soon became Rigàtteri. Our father was often sent to bring water to the cows from the "Rigàtteri" well and he only discovered the correct definition when he was already an adult, but in his memory and in his heart the vision of the Rigàtteri well remained forever.

The Quality Mark of the Network of Parks and Protected Areas of the Porto Conte Park is a system of enhancement of the local territory; it is issued only to companies in possession of certified quality standards. The activities that are part of it guarantee that their work is respectful of the environment and the territory, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of the community.
VINEYARD
There are many beautiful and outstanding places that the Sardinian Coral Riviera offers and the Rigàtteri winery is located almost in the center; Santa Maria La Palma, in the nurra plain, a few kilometres from the Gulf of Alghero, the bay of Porto Conte and the enchanting Porticciolo and Porto Ferro.

With age comes character. The success of Rigàtteri has been driven by the generations of visionaries and innovators. From the beginning in 1930’s to today, the merging of science, art and innovation has driven Rigàtteri to produce award winning wine.
In addition to the scents of our territory, each label carries a piece of us,
for the love and passion that accompany us in all the stages of transformation of the grapes, from the harvest with manual selection, to the different types of processing to finish with bottling.
